Greetings to family and friends at this very special time of the year. Jim and I decided to send our Christmas letter by email since all but three of you are on line. We are including pictures this year since we hadn’t done it for few years. We really love living here in Washington. The scenery is beautiful all year in it’s different seasons. We like having three of our sons and family near by. And Deb from Minnesota, and Peter from Austin come at least once a year to visit. With 14 grandchildren and so far three greats we enjoy watching them grow through all the stages.
As retirees we enjoy working with our church family. I still sing in the choir and love it. Jim attends a Tuesday morning men’s Bible class at 6:30 am. I drive him there and visit with friends whom we share as coffee buddies. Then we go to our favorite little restaurant for breakfast. I reworked the church library this year. Jim runs the sound system for our service as needed. Jim also works with computers several times a year in the Church school with the children. Once a year we write a piece for our churches advent devotionals. We attend various small study groups.

Jim has gone back to studying the Bible with most of his time. His second major interest is Train Shows. When he goes to the Portland show we go to Seaside, Oregon afterward to spend a few days on the ocean front. I take pictures, feed Seagulls, and we walk around and enjoy the area. Being by the Pacific Ocean is my favorite place on earth. Apart from this we have chosen to not travel anymore.

We enjoy remembering happy times with all of you. We wish you the best. Never have we needed peace so badly. So many lives lost or ruined on all sides to chase after one man. When so much of the world needs help to become proficient in helping themselves. We all want peace.

So we close out another year and pray to God that in the next year some of the world’s problems will be solved, or some visible progress may be made.
