Snohomish is a little town about 30 minutes north of us. It is known for it’s antique shops which are fun to go through. It had an antique car place but that has gone out of business. It has a book store called UPPER CASE BOOKS. That bookstore had a nice dog we always played with and also a quilt with squares that look like books. The owner has just retired and the new owner is moving the book store to the place where the antique cars were. This is the largest used bookstore we have seen other than HALF PRICE BOOKS here. The bookstore has 30% off all of it’s books this month. So yesterday son Jim and his wife, Suzy took us up there. We had a lot of fun looking for treasures. Jim found several theological books including one he knew our pastor wanted.
In Snohomish there is also a restaurant (THE CABBAGE PATCH) with antique decor, furniture and stained glass windows. The restaurant burned to the ground probably a year ago. The fire was stared in the old wiring between floors. Now it is completely restored and we enjoyed eating there once again. Ir is always fun to get away to Snohomish which is a totally different experience
